Welcome to my website! This is a little background on myself. I grew up in St. Joseph, MI which is in southwest Michigan and am currently living in Portage, MI. I just graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. I started at Western Michigan not knowing what type of engineering I wanted to go into. I first started in the electrical engineering program, but quickly found that I liked working with both software and hardware so I changed to computer engineering. Before Western I had no idea how programs work let alone what code looked like for a program. Programming is fun and easy to learn with some time and practice. Western gave me the opportunity to gain experience in both hardware and software development and testing.
My experience at Western has given me a chance to try all sorts of fun and challenging projects. I have gained knowledge and experience using assembly and C programming for micro-controllers in both lab and research. I also have gained experience using an FPGA with in a Xilinx environment for VHDL and ModelSim for simulation. In along with programming experience in both micro-controller and FPGA labs I gained experience interfacing hardware along with software.
Besides college and work I enjoy spending time with my fiancée and 4 month old son. He is the best little guy ever and is totally a cute little guy. I enjoy spending time on the computer whether I am reading up on tech articles or playing around with some programming. If we are lucky we all like to hang out with friends and show of the little man.
Here's a picture of my 2009 spring break with friends and fiancée. We decided to go to a colder place instead of a warmer place. We went to Niagara Falls, Canada.
So, I guess that about it for me. If you want to see projects I have worked on please go to the projects page to find out what I am working and what I have worked on.
